1. Overview
Magnet ("we", "our", "the app") analyzes Instagram profile screenshots as creative works to provide personalized presentation feedback. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only the minimum data needed to run the service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
- Photos you upload: You provide up to 3 Instagram profile screenshots per analysis session. These images are uploaded to our server (hosted on Google Firebase) and sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to generate your report. They are stored temporarily on our server only for as long as needed to produce your full analysis, and are automatically deleted once your full analysis (Base Analysis) is generated. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.
- Anonymous device identifier: The first time you open the app, we generate a random anonymous ID for your device. It is stored on your device and on our server. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID, or any real-world identity — its only purpose is to keep track of your purchased credit balance and prevent abuse.
- Credit balance: Your remaining credit balance is stored on our server, associated with the anonymous device identifier above. We store it server-side (rather than only on your device) so that the balance you paid for cannot be tampered with locally.
- Purchase data: Credit purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). We do not collect, store, or see your payment information. We receive only a purchase receipt, which we verify with Apple in order to add credits to your balance.
- No account, no contact info: Magnet does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying personal information.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To generate your profile analysis report (images sent to Claude API only while producing your report).
- To process and verify in-app purchases via Apple StoreKit and credit your balance.
- To maintain your purchased credit balance and prevent abuse.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service. We do not sell your data.
4. Third-Party Services
- Anthropic Claude API: Profile images and analysis prompts are sent to Anthropic's API to generate analysis text. Per Anthropic's API terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train their models. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy.
- Google Firebase: Our backend runs on Google Firebase (Cloud Functions and Firestore). Firebase temporarily hosts uploaded images during analysis and stores your anonymous device ID and credit balance. Google's privacy policy applies: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Handles all in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. Data Retention
Uploaded photos are stored only temporarily on our server and are automatically deleted as soon as your full analysis is generated — they are not kept, backed up, or reused afterward. Your anonymous device identifier and credit balance are retained on our server until you request deletion (see "Your Rights") or stop using the app. Data stored locally on your device (such as your most recent report) persists until you clear it in the app or uninstall.
6. Children's Privacy
Magnet is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, please contact us.
7. Your Rights
- Local data: You can clear locally stored data anytime via "Clear Data" in the app's "Me" page, or by uninstalling the app.
- Server data: To delete your anonymous device identifier and associated credit balance from our server, email us at the address below. Note that deleting this data also removes any remaining purchased credits, which cannot be restored afterward.
- Photos: Because uploaded photos are deleted automatically after each analysis, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

- 次数余额：您的剩余次数余额存储在我们的服务器上，与上述匿名设备标识符关联。我们将余额存于服务端（而非仅存本地），是为了防止您付费购买的余额在本地被篡改。
- 购买数据：次数购买完全由 Apple App Store（StoreKit）处理。我们不收集、存储或查看您的支付信息，仅接收购买凭据，并向 Apple 验证后为您增加次数余额。
- 无需账户、无需联系方式：本应用无需创建账户，我们不收集您的姓名、电子邮件、手机号码或任何可直接识别个人身份的信息。
3. 数据的使用方式
- 生成您的展示面分析报告（图片仅在生成报告期间发送至 Claude API）。

7. 您的权利
- 本地数据：您可随时在应用"我的"页面通过"清除数据"清除本地存储的数据，或卸载应用。
- 服务器数据：如需从我们的服务器删除您的匿名设备标识符及关联的次数余额，请发送邮件至下方地址。请注意：删除此数据也会一并移除剩余的已购次数，且无法恢复。
- 照片：由于上传的照片在每次分析后即被自动删除，通常没有需要我们代您检索或删除的内容。
8. 政策变更
随应用发展，我们可能更新本政策。页面顶部的"最后更新"日期将反映任何变更。在变更后继续使用本应用即视为接受更新后的政策。
